Business terms, manufacturing tolerances, and bulk ordering policies
Master Lei Business Policies
Please read these terms carefully before placing bulk wholesale or private label orders with us. These terms ensure a transparent, smooth, and professional B2B partnership.
1. Acceptance of Business Terms
By initiating a wholesale inquiry, requesting sample swatches, or placing a bulk purchase order with Master Lei Garments, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all B2B (Business-to-Business) transactions, private label manufacturing (OEM), and custom shirt production conducted with us.
2. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) & Sampling
Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is 100 shirts per style/colorway, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Sample orders are provided for quality approval and fit testing prior to bulk production. Sampling charges apply and are refundable or adjustable against the subsequent bulk order if the bulk order meets our minimum volume requirements.
3. Manufacturing & Fabric Tolerances
As is standard in the textile and apparel industry, minor variations are inherent to the manufacturing process. A tolerance of +/- 5% in color/shade matching (due to dye-lot variations in raw fabrics) and +/- 0.5 inches in finished garment dimensions is considered acceptable. Master Lei is not liable for minor differences that fall within these standard manufacturing tolerances.
4. Payment Terms & Billing
All bulk orders are processed on a deposit-and-balance structure. Typically, a 50% advance deposit is required to initiate fabric sourcing and production, with the remaining 50% balance payable upon production completion and prior to dispatch. All invoices are subject to 18% GST as per Indian tax laws (GSTIN: 33DVLPS7686R1Z6). Payment terms, credit options, or credit periods must be approved in writing by our finance team.
5. Logistics, Shipping & Transit Risk
All goods are sold Ex-Factory (from our manufacturing facility in Madhavaram, Chennai) unless otherwise specified. While we facilitate shipping through trusted third-party logistics (3PL) partners and cargo networks, the risk of transit damage or delay transfers to the buyer once the consignment is handed over to the transport carrier. Shipping costs are borne entirely by the buyer.
6. Quality Claims & Returns
Since our products are manufactured for wholesale distribution or customized for specific brands, we do not accept returns for unsold inventory or changes of mind. Any claims regarding manufacturing defects, quantity discrepancies, or transit damage must be submitted in writing within 7 business days of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence. Defective items will be replaced or credited following inspection.
7. Intellectual Property & Private Label
For private label (OEM) clients, the buyer represents and warrants that they own or have the legal right to use all brand names, logos, and trademarks requested to be stitched or printed onto the custom shirts. Master Lei Garments disclaims all liability regarding trademark infringements related to buyer-supplied designs.
